Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord!  I am Bishop Henry W. Hearns, Senior Pastor of Living Stone Cathedral of Worship.  Welcome, welcome, welcome to our family where we minister to the whole person!

 

The new members class and orientation has been constructed so that you will understand the God-given mission and vision of Living Stone Cathedral of Worship (LSCW) specifically, and the larger commission of the body of Christ.  LSCW adheres only to the sound doctrine and teachings of the Holy Word of God.  This local body is Christ-centered preaching, teaching, and exhorting in Him.  It is only reasonable after having received salvation to be fortified in the doctrine of Christ (2 John 9:10), and to walk accordingly.  Colossians 2:6-7, “ As ye have therefore, received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding with thanksgiving.” Assuredly, as a member at LSCW you will be taught, not according to denominational tenets or other traditions of men, but according to the Word of God. 

Bishop Henry Wyatt Hearns Sr. was born to Earnest & Birdie Hearns on April 23, 1933, in Byhalia, Mississippi.  The first of five siblings, Bishop Hearns was a born leader.  After receiving the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 12, he immediately went about doing the work of the Lord he began, serving as the Superintendent for Sunday school at age 13.  He continued in the will of God being called to ministry in 1958 as a junior at Tennessee A & I University, and was formally ordained in 1964 in Pacoima, CA.  Bishop Hearns has been preaching the Gospel of Christ for 46 years and pastoring Living Stone Cathedral of Worship for 40 years.  He has a “good testimony” being revered as a knowledgeable civil engineer, successful and honest civil servant, and a man of God who is sought out for his wisdom and counsel throughout the Antelope Valley and across the nation.
