Elder Dawson was born to Arliss and Mary Dawson in a little town in Alabama. He is the grandson of Alvin and Mary Hagler, who are the founders of New Hope Baptist church in Argo, AL. Elder Dawson is the husband of GaVon Dawson, the father of five and grandfather of two.

 

He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He is now attending the Kings College and Seminary.

 

Photography is a passion of Elder Dawson. His camera is part of his dress in the church community. He has been grandfathered in as the church photographer and has taken thousands of photos in the last four years.

 

Besides being a photographer, he is a cyclist. He is very health conscious. He is currently the overseer of the LSCW Health Ministry and believes that all God's people should be good stewards of their temples.
